Ponle color a tu plato / Put some colors on your plate

Hoy fui a darme una vuelta al mercado para escoger nuevas frutas y verduras y así variarle un poco a mis desayunos, comidas, cenas y colaciones. Mientras más variedad de frutas y verduras, mayor diversidad de vitaminas, minerales y otros fitonutrimentos tendrás en tu cuerpo y te sentirás mejor.

 

Te recomiendo que vayas al super o al mercado (de preferencia) y escojas frutas y verduras que no acostumbras comer y juntes el mayor número de colores diferentes. Si no sabes qué hacer con ellas para cocinarlas, googlea recetas (o busca en pinterest) y encontrarás miles de formas fáciles de incluirlas en dieta. Con este frio te puedes hacer un sopita de verdura que te dura toda la semana!

Today I went to the market to get some new veggies and fruits to include in my diet and be more creative in planning all my meals. The wider the range of fruits and vegetables in your diet, the more vitamins, minerals, and phytonutrients that will go in your body to make you feel healthier.

 

I recommend you to go to a farmers’ market and choose fruits and veggies that you usually don’t eat, and pick as many colors as you can. If you don’t know what to do with them; google some recipes (or use pinterest), you’ll find a bunch of different ways to prepare delicious meals. For this cold weather you can prepare today a big stick with veggies and enjoy it all week long.
